![]() On the other hand, such artefacts are very hard to notice anything on more busy material and it will work very well on busy mixes. ![]() ![]() That much movement may reveal itself to be a bit problematic if you’re dealing with more pure acoustical sources or very clean mixes with not many instruments, so on some genres you’ll better off not surfing a lot, or do it gently if you really need it as it can easily sound heavy-handed. Some phasing is totally expected if you’re moving that much, there’s no way around that but Sound Radix managed to smooth out as much as possible and they have succeeded to a great extent. It’s quite a remarkable thing, even a bit funny to see the bands jumping for one note/frequency to the other! It’s done very well and generally sounds great, but there’s some trade backs and artefacts are bound to happen, especially when combining the pitch surfing with dynamic triggering. It’s also very good sounding when used as a regular or dynamic EQ and I particularly the later, but the star of the show is definitely the function that names it. Sound quality: This is quite an amazing equalizer which excels on what it proposes.
